How NiceList collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how NiceList, operated by Akers Group, LLC ("NiceList", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, applications, and services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.
Information you provide during onboarding and use, such as your name, email address, phone number, role, business name, and trade or service details.
Service addresses, property addresses, and unit details relevant to your role.
Repair requests, messages, documents, photos, listings, quotes, and reviews you submit.
Processed by our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card or bank numbers.
Log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken, collected automatically as you use the Platform.

As needed for the Platform to function — for example, a tenant's repair request is shared with the relevant landlord and dispatched Pro; a Pro's profile is shown to landlords and homeowners.
Companies that help us run the Platform — such as our hosting and database provider, email provider, payment processor, and AI provider used for extracted-text document review — under obligations to protect the information. For credential review, NiceList uses local PDF processing or OCR, redacts common Social Security number formats, and sends extracted text rather than the original uploaded file. Automated review checks document consistency and does not guarantee authenticity, licensing status, insurance coverage, or work quality.
When we believe disclosure is required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, or property of NiceList, our Users, or others.

The Platform may display business-directory listings (for example, service providers in a region). This information is presented for convenience and does not imply any relationship with, or endorsement by, the listed business. A Pro may claim and correct their own listing.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may review and update your profile information in your account settings and adjust notification preferences. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information; to request these, or to close your account, contact us at the address below. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
The Platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this Policy by posting a new version and updating the effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the Platform.
